North Palos School District 117 is thrilled to host its second Parent Night event from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4 at Conrady Junior High School, 7950 W. 97th St., Hickory Hills. Please park in the back (north) parking lot and enter through the event entrance.
Buoyed by the success of its first Parent Night on August 31, District 117 is excited to host a second event offering numerous 30-minute sessions aimed at helping parents set their children up for success. The first sessions begin at 5 p.m.
Topics include: Ways to Support Your Child in Math (K-5 and 6-8); Primary Reading and Writing (K-2); Middle School Reading and Writing (3-8); Supporting and Encouraging Your Child's Interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (K-8); Standards-Based Grading Overview (K-5); Read With Me!; Accessing Unique Learning Skills at Home; Building Healthy Habits; Digital Tools and Schoology Overview.
All sessions will run four times. Families can come for one 30-minute session or pick up to four sessions to attend.
