Fall Fest Brings The Jaguar Community Together

This school year the PBIS Team joined forces with Student Council to create a new group of students called Jaguar Ambassadors.  The aim of this group is to instill qualities of leadership in students as they serve their school community and promote a positive school culture.  The first special event they sponsored was the Fall Fest - a festival of games that support our PBIS theme for the 2022-2023 school year.

On Friday, September 23 approximately 500 students came out to participate in the all school social event to get the opportunity to build relationships with friends and play different team building games like tug of war, sack races and pizza box relay races. The most exciting opportunities of the evening however, was the dunk tank, blow up obstacle course, and pop a shot.  Students formed long lines to get the chance to hit the target and soak their dean and teachers. In each game student winners were acknowledged with a special Jaguar Paw.  These paws could be redeemed at the on site ROAR store which sold out of all of its prizes as the event came to a close.

The sponsors of the Jaguar Ambassadors are extremely thankful for the help of the of the volunteer parents, staff and administrators who came out to facilitate games and monitor our students.  The dedicated Jaguar Ambassadors who served their school by selling tickets, setting up the event, running concessions, and checking out winners at the ROAR store are a valuable asset to our school community. We are looking forward to hosting more school-wide celebrations and hope to see you there.
